A 28-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after a car rear-ended two motorcycles on Jan. 28.

In response to Mothership's queries, police said that they were alerted to the incident at 11:10am along Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) involving a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) which had hit the motorcycles at once.

What happened

A rear dashcam video shared on Facebook on Jan. 31 showed three motorcycles initially riding in front of the MPV.

The car failed to slow down, and collided with the two motorcycles closest to it from behind.

It hit the motorcycles simultaneously with both of its front bumpers, causing one rider to be flung forward.

He skidded and fell off his motorcycle, with the bike hitting the back of the car.
