A 28-year-old male motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after a car collided with his motorcycle along Bukit Timah Road, towards Upper Bukit Timah Road, at around 11pm on Jan. 31.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) toldĀ Mothership that the motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

A video uploaded on SG Road Vigilante Facebook showed three motorcycles driving in front of a grey Mazda 3, each occupying one lane.

The car was driving in the left lane when it rear-ended the motorcyclist driving in the same lane.

A commenter speculated that the car may have been trying to avoid a vehicle that was parked on the left side of the road.

A 27-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, said SPF.

Police investigations are ongoing.
