A chain collision on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) involving 14 cars on Feb. 21, 2025, led to eight people being conveyed to the hospital.
According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF), 11 cars, two taxis, and one motorcycle were involved in the collision, which took place along PIE towards Changi, after the Jalan Eunos exit.
SPF was alerted to the accident at about 9:50pm on Feb. 21.
A video uploaded to Facebook by user Novie Datawati, shows the aftermath of the collision:
The video shows the chain of cars involved in the collision, with the bonnet of a black car at the back of the pile-up looking particularly damaged.
Two ambulances could also be seen parked along the side of the road.
A 25-year-old male motorcyclist, a 71-year-old male car driver and his two car passengers aged 54 and 67, two female taxi passengers aged 39 and 82, and two other female car passengers aged 26 and 34, were conveyed conscious to the hospital.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) conveyed seven persons to Changi General Hospital and one person to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
