SportSG to close outdoor & non-air-conditioned facilities at all ActiveSG Sport Centres

SportSG is closing all outdoor and non-air-conditioned facilities at all ActiveSG Sport Centres due to the evolving haze situation, it updated on its website on Oct. 16, 12pm.

Indoor and air-conditioned facilities will remain open.

In an earlier update at 6:30pm on Oct. 15, the sport organisation had announced closures of outdoor and non-air-conditioned facilities at ActiveSG Sport Centres in the east, south, west and central, with the exception of the north.

The public can refer to the ActiveSG website for more updates on facility closures.

The closure comes after all regions in Singapore hit the High band for the hourly PM2.5 at 12pm on Oct. 16.

This is the 12th consecutive day Singapore has had unhealthy air, the longest since the 2015 haze crisis.
