A video of the incident was uploaded on Sep. 28 to Complaint Singapore.
In the video, a person was seen scooping out butter onto several pieces of bread, then using their finger to spread the butter.
The post alleged that the incident occurred at a stall called "Tuantuan Puanpuan" near Woodlands MRT station.
A scan of Google reviews for the stall turned up at least one complaint regarding a cockroach that was supposedly found in a drink while most of the other complaints involved rude staff.
Calls by Mothership to a number associated with the stall did not go through.
In response to media queries, the SFA said it is investigating the incident and that it will take enforcement action once sufficient evidence is available.
