S'porean actor Glenn Yong says he was inappropriately touched at Changi Airport twice during security check

Singaporean actor Glenn Yong was allegedly inappropriately touched during a security check at Changi Airport.

"Unusually touchy"

In a series of Instagram stories on Sep. 29, the 29-year-old said he was boarding a flight from Singapore earlier that day, and that the incident had occurred during routine security checks before boarding.

He alleged that the pat-down was "unusually touchy" and had brushed against his private areas twice.

He added that his team was in the process of reporting the matter.

"I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that experienced security officers frisking inappropriately around the private areas," he wrote, adding that "something needs to be done" to ensure passengers feel safe.

In response to queries from Mothership, Changi Airport Group said they are aware of the matter and are investigating.
