A taxi hit the back of a traffic police patrol car on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas on Aug. 4 at about 5:40pm.

A photo of the aftermath of the incident shared online showed the bonnet of the ComfortDelGro multi-purpose vehicle taxi badly damaged.

The Toyota Noah Hybrid six-seater's air bags also appeared to have been deployed.
