4 masked men with sledgehammers rob Klang, M'sia goldsmith, flee with valuables on motorcycles

At least four masked men allegedly used sledgehammers to rob a goldsmith within a few minutes in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia on Aug. 20, 2026,

Footage of the brazen heist in broad daylight has been put up online.

The suspects were seen smashing display cases inside the premises at Jalan Tengku Kelana.

They then fled on motorcycles with the valuables.

The shop is about 200m from the Klang Selatan district police headquarters, according to China Press.

It has yet to be confirmed how much jewellery was stolen or whether anyone was injured in the incident.

Police have not issued an official statement on the case.
