Secretary-General of the Reform Party (RP), Kenneth Jeyaretnam, died on Jul. 18 at the age of 67.
His death was announced in a Facebook post by his wife, Amanda Jeyaretnam, on Jul. 19.
She said he "died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family”.
"We are currently finalising funeral details for a small family service but will arrange a memorial to celebrate his life at a later date."
She noted that her husband was a "loving and devoted father" to their son, Jared.
"He filled our lives with joy and wonder, and we miss him so much."
Jeyaretnam was a familiar figure in the Singaporean political scene, having taken part in multiple general elections.
