No physical relationship, but lapse of judgment & conduct fell short of standards: Faishal Ibrahim's letter to PM Wong

Former Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim has resigned from his political offices, his role as a Member of Parliament and his membership of the People's Action Party over interactions he had with a female member of the public.

While allegations of harassment were made by both Faishal and the woman, the police investigated and in consultation with the Attorney-General’s Chambers, it was assessed that no criminal offence had been committed by either party.

However, Faishal accepted that his conduct fell short of the standards expected of an MP and Political Office Holder, leading to his resignation.
