The second half of April 2026 is expected to be wetter, with short-duration thundery showers forecast over parts of Singapore in the afternoon on most days.

According to the Meteorological Service Singapore, the showers may extend into the evening on some occasions.

Sumatra squalls may also bring about widespread thundery showers and gusty winds during the pre-dawn and morning hours for one or two days, and there may be a few days with little rainfall.

The daily maximum temperatures are likely to range between 33°C and 34°C on most days, with highs of around 35°C on a few days.

First half of April 2026

This comes after the first half of April 2026 was warmer, with maximum temperatures exceeding 34 °C on 12 days.

The highest daily maximum temperature of 35.4 °C was recorded at Paya Lebar on Apr. 5, 2026.

Most parts of Singapore recorded below-average rainfall, though there was more rainfall than in the second half of March 2026.
