'Give me 1 last hug because I won't survive': Last words of Brazil mother allegedly stabbed to death by her son, 9
Her other son hugged her, but the boy did not.
A 9-year-old Brazilian boy allegedly stabbed his mother to death after an argument on Sep. 25 in São Paulo, Brazil.
The boy had gotten angry after an argument with his mother, Caline Arruda dos Santos, 37.
He allegedly went to the kitchen, took out a knife and stabbed her, reported local media Metropoles.
Before she died, Caline allegedly asked for one last hug with her son, knowing she would not survive.
Does not seem to know what he did
After the altercation, the boy reportedly went into the kitchen, took a knife, and hid it under his sleeve.
As his mother was standing with his 19-year-old half-brother at the door, the boy allegedly approached her and stabbed her in the abdomen.
Witnesses reported hearing her tell her children: “Come here and give me one last hug, because I won’t survive.”
Her other son hugged her, but the 9-year-old did not.
A neighbour rushed her to A&E before she was transferred to Parelheiros Hospital, but she was pronounced dead on arrival.
As the boy is under the age of 12, he cannot be prosecuted under in Brazil‘s Juvenile Court and has been placed in the care of a family member.
