4 suspected S'porean drug traffickers arrested after over S$619,000 worth of drugs seized
CNB said the drugs could feed the addiction of about 2,630 abusers for a week.

Four individuals were arrested on Mar. 4 as a result of two separate anti-drug operations in which a large amount of heroin and cannabis was seized.
The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said that the drugs seized were estimated to be worth more than S$619,000 and could potentially feed the addiction of about 2,630 abusers for a week.
The four suspected drug traffickers are all Singaporeans.
Hotel near Havelock Road raided
In evening of Mar. 4, CNB officers raided a hotel room in the vicinity of Havelock Road.
The room's two occupants, a 21-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man, were arrested.
About 340g of heroin, 103g of ‘Ecstasy’, 27g of ‘Ice’, five Erimin-5 tablets, along with S$9,180 and RM711 (S$215) in cash were seized from the room.

Officers escorted the suspects to their rented vehicle at the hotel's car park.
A search of the vehicle uncovered about 2,758g of heroin and 515g of ‘Ice’.
Hideout near Kaki Bukit searched
Late on Mar. 4, CNB officers also arrested a 27-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man at the carpark of a commercial property in the vicinity of Kaki Bukit Road 3.
Officers also searched the man's hideout, a unit in the same building, and found about 4.99kg of cannabis, 279g of ketamine, 222g of ‘Ice’, 115g of ‘Ecstasy’, 250 LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) stamps.

The unit also had many vape devices, cartridges and edibles suspected to contain THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).

Meanwhile, CNB officers who searched a car driven by the female suspect recovered about 11g of ‘Ice’.
Drug traffickers may face death penalty: CNB
CNB said that those found guilty of trafficking more than 15g of diamorphine or “pure heroin”, or more than 250g of methamphetamine, or more than 500g of cannabis, may face the mandatory death penalty in Singapore.
CNB also alerted members of the public about drug traffickers’ attempts to sell edibles containing harmful controlled drugs, which are marketed as harmless consumables or candies.
