JB man, 25, allegedly chases down & torches wife's car after domestic dispute
He escaped from the scene after and was on the run.

A 25-year-old man in Johor Bahru (JB) was caught on video allegedly dousing his wife's car with gasoline and setting it on fire after a domestic dispute on Feb. 2.
Local police are now looking for the man after he drove off from the scene.

The incident took place at around 10:20pm at a traffic junction along Jalan Tebrau in JB on Feb. 2, JB police chief Raub Selamat told Malaysian media.
A video shared on Facebook showed that a white Toyota Vios stopped behind another car before its bonnet erupted into flames.
The car's occupants were seen rushing out onto the road.

"Based on the video, a white car belonging to a 21-year-old local woman was doused with petrol by a 25-year-old man, her husband, and set on fire," said Raub.
He added that the suspect was unhappy with his wife after a domestic dispute.
Raub noted that based on CCTV footage, the suspect drove a Toyota Vellfire and blocked the victim's car.
“The suspect then poured petrol on the car’s bonnet and set it on fire before driving away," he said.
Raub said the car's four occupants escaped unharmed.
He added that the victim subsequently filed a police report at 1:33am, and claimed she had suffered RM90,000 (S$27,442) in damages.
10 firemen deployed to put out fire
Larkin Fire Station operations commander Wan Azri Wan Adannan told The Star that 10 firemen were deployed to the scene to put out the fire.

The car was 80 per cent damaged, he added.
