Taylor Swift booed at Super Bowl
U.S. President Donald Trump subsequently trolled her by highlighting the crowd's reaction.

Taylor Swift got booed at the Super Bowl on Feb. 9 (U.S. time).
The moment occurred when her face appeared on the giant screen at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana for the first time.
Swift appeared confused as loud boos rocked the arena.
Her boyfriend Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs were subsequently defeated 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles.
How she reacted
Swift's initial reaction was one of confusion.
This was followed by a side-eye glance before she mumbled some words.
The Daily Mail, quoting a lip reader, apparently revealed what Swift said: "Aww what, what's going on?"
Swift, 35, was sitting next to rapper Ice Spice at the time.
Trump mocks Swift
Trump then turned to his social media platform to mock Swift for being booed.
The president wrote on his Truth Social account: "The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!"
Swift had publicly endorsed his opponent, former vice president Kamala Harris, in the presidential election.
However, Trump's statement was met with backlash from fans.
They reminded him that he was also booed at the Super Bowl.
Fact-checking site Snopes clarified that the president was both booed and cheered.
Other reasons why Taylor Swift got booed?
As to why people booed Swift at the stadium, some explanations have been offered.
One suggestion was that sports fans believe Swift has been given far too much television time during football games.
And the fans have also turned against the Chiefs, who have replaced the Patriots and Tom Brady as the combination that they love to hate.
Moreover, the fans might have been rooting for the other team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
If the Chiefs had won the Super Bowl on Sunday, it would have been their third consecutive title, making them the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Alas, they were denied the history-making moment.
Whether these plausible-sounding explanations hold water depends on how far across the sporting spectrum one wants to look.
Just recently, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan was roundly booed in the arena when he made his Netflix debut of WWE Raw on Jan. 6.
Hogan, an American legend, had rooted for Trump during the 2024 presidential race.
Maybe Americans just like booing anyone who mildly slips into the "anti-hero" category.
