Strange man takes pram from outside Tengah flat, returns it 2 days later used & dirty
The family was overseas on holiday when the pram was removed and returned.

While vacationing in Hong Kong, a Singaporean woman was alerted by her doorbell camera app to the presence of a person outside her flat located in Tengah.
When she checked the footage, she was startled to see a man touching her pram outside her door.
However, the man left without doing anything else to it.
Feeling uneasy, the woman rewound the footage to the day her family had left Singapore and was shocked to discover that the same man was in the Plantation Village estate and had actually taken the pram two days earlier.
It appeared that on the day she caught him on camera, he had returned to put the pram back at its original location.
The woman later posted the footage of the incident on TikTok, encouraging others to be more vigilant.
On vacation
Speaking to Mothership, 29-year-old Yanti explained that her family was on holiday at the time of the incident.
She woke up at 7am on Jan. 24 and saw a doorbell camera notification indicating that someone had been at her door around 6am.
"I was startled to see someone fiddling with the pram, but he left it after a while. I became wary and started reviewing the footage from when we left Singapore," she said.
It was then that she realised the same man had taken the pram two days earlier, on Jan. 22.
The pram in question was a Joie Tourist Signature Stroller, which Yanti had purchased on sale for S$299.
Its original retail price was S$449.

In the footage, the man, who is wearing a mask, could be seen typing on his phone and appeared to be surveying the surroundings before rummaging through the prams' pockets.

Finding nothing, he quickly took one of the prams and disappeared behind a pillar.
Yanti explained that her flat is a corner unit, with a staircase separating her home from her neighbour’s unit.
In another video from Jan. 24, the man could be seen back with the pram.

Clear signs of use on pram
"He lived in our minds rent-free while we were in Hong Kong — we literally couldn’t stop thinking about it," Yanti said.
As soon as she and her family returned to Singapore, she checked the condition of the pram and discovered "clear signs of use".
"The handle was adjusted, and there was a baby pillow inside which we accidentally left, that was freaking dirty. As if he stepped on it or something," she said.
"The cushion was also in a state of disarray, we really have no idea why everything came back so dirty and what he did with the pram."
"And why did he even return it? It's all a mystery to this day," she added.
After their return, the family gave the pram a "full-on scrubbing of every part possible", but had to throw away everything else inside, as it was "too dirty to be salvaged".
Will be more vigilant now
Yanti shared that her family had only moved into the flat six months ago and had never heard of such an incident happening before.
"It's common to see people placing things outside their houses, so it didn’t occur to us that this could happen while we were away," she said.
Reflecting on the incident, she admitted that the family is now "more paranoid" and plans to stay vigilant by either locking the prams or keeping them indoors.
She added: "We would also like to spread awareness to fellow residents not to leave things outside, especially if they’re not locked, as it might tempt people to steal or even make them think it’s for disposal."
Yanti plans to file a police report once the family has settled back from their trip.
