Netflix has dropped the premiere date for the third and final season of its hit Korean series, "Squid Game".
The season will be out on Jun. 27, 2025, as confirmed in a Netflix announcement on Jan. 30.
Season three picks up where season two ended, with Gihun (Lee Jungjae) thrown into a fierce struggle for survival following a failed, bloody rebellion against the game’s masterminds.
As the Front Man (Lee Byunghun) prepares his next move, the surviving players face increasingly dire consequences with each round of the deadly games.

A swirling flower-patterned floor replaces the rainbow-coloured track from the previous season’s six-legged pentathlon.
Above, the shadows of Younghee, the animatronic killer doll, and Cheolsoo, a new character, loom over the scene.
Netflix also released first-look images of Gihun handcuffed to a post, visibly enraged by the death of his close friend Jungbae (Lee Seohwan).

In addition, Netflix teased the return of Noeul (Park Gyuyoung), a North Korean defector who works as one of the game’s masked guards.
She may be seen outside the game’s confines in the new season, with her mask removed.
