2 passengers fight on Scoot flight from Xi’an, China to S'pore upon arrival

Two passengers were seen getting into a scuffle on board a Scoot plane.

A video of the incident was put up on various social media platforms.

What video showed

The video showed a man in grey being stopped by a man in black when he was picking up his luggage.

The two then started to throw hands.

The other passengers on the plane looked on, and one of them shouted: "Stop fighting. There are children here."

A Scoot spokesperson told Mothership that the incident occurred on flight TR135 from Xi'an to Singapore on Christmas Eve.

The airline spokesperson said its crew were informed of an altercation between two passengers while disembarking at Changi Airport and intervened to control the situation in accordance with safety protocols.

There were no further disruptions to the disembarkation process, Scoot added.

The spokesperson also said the company always puts the safety and health of passengers and crew first and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
