Footage of the cat stuck in the undercarriage of the toy car meant for children was put up on Facebook on Dec. 25.
What videos showed
The first video showed the wide-eyed, long-haired cat embedded within the chassis of the plastic toy car.
It appeared startled but otherwise calm.
A man with a power tool in hand was seen loosening and removing the screws in the toy in an attempt to free the cat.
A second video showed the cat about to be freed by the Good Samaritan as a pair of the toy car's wheels and axle were loosened.
The cat made a run for it when it realised it was able to get out.

According to the video's caption, it was not known for long the cat was trapped in the toy car.
It was observed that its fur was wet, which meant that it was caught in the rain.
"The cat appeared frightened and traumatised, but we managed to free it," the post added.
Responses
In the comments section, the woman who put up the videos wrote that it was the town council workers who took notice of the trapped cat.
One commenter identified the cat as a Chinchilla Persian breed.
Another person, who identified herself as a cat feeder, also wrote in the comments section that the cat belonged in another area in Woodlands and was apparently relocated.
She said the cat ought to be brought back to where it was to be taken care of by its original feeder.
An update on the post past 11pm on Christmas Day highlighted that the cat was still seen in the area it was trapped and freed, and was apparently in hiding.
An appeal was made for another person to secure it.
