Lord of the Rings Musical to premiere in S'pore in Aug. 2025, general sales to open in Jan. 2025

Fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, get ready to experience Middle Earth not just through the screens, but in the form of a musical.

The Lord of the Rings — A Musical Tale will have its Asia premiere in Singapore at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands in August 2025.

While ticket prices have yet to be released, fans are encouraged to join the waitlist, already open, for exclusive early access to tickets, said Base Entertainment Asia in a news release on Dec. 26, 2024.

However, joining the waitlist does not guarantee tickets.

Ticket sales go live from Jan. 6, 2025

There will be three rounds of pre-sales from Jan. 6 to 9, 2025, before general sales begin on Jan. 10, 2025.

Certain promotions will offer up discounts of up to 20 per cent.

• Jan. 6: Klook World Members can enjoy 20 per cent off pre-sale tickets from 10am
• Jan. 7 to 31: DBS/POSB x Klook cardholders can enjoy 20 per cent off from 10am to 11:59pm
• Jan. 8 to 31: DBS/POSB Pre-Sale x Klook, MBS and SISTIC users can enjoy 20 per cent off from 10am to 11:59pm

For waitlist subscribers, you can purchase your pre-sale tickets at 15 per cent off from Jan. 8 to 31, from 12pm to 11:59pm.
