Jaywalking man gets hit by car in Yishun, walks it off

A man was seen jaywalking across the road and attempting to cut in front of a car at Yishun Avenue 2 — only to be sent flying.

The incident was shared in a video clip posted to SGFollowsAll's social media page on Dec. 24.

The man, dressed in a grey t-shirt and shorts, was seen stepping off the road divider onto the road.

But as he jogged across the road, his presence was obscured by a vehicle and he stepped into the left-most lane onto the path of a dark-coloured car.

The dark-coloured car was unable to brake in time and hit the jaywalker.

He was sent flying.

The man got up from the road immediately and appeared to walk it off.

But after picking up his belongings from the road, he bent down and held his knees, as he appeared to be hurt.

It is understood the paramedics were not required.
