"I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Former U.S. president Donald Trump declared his lack of affection for Taylor Swift on Sep. 15, just days after the mega pop star and singer endorsed U.S. presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

The singer-songwriter made her glowing endorsement on the night of the presidential debate between Trump and Harris on Sep. 11, where the overall sentiment suggested many perceived Harris to have performed better.

Trump said on Sep. 12 that there will be no more presidential debates with vice president Harris ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

Swift had signed off her endorsement as "Childless Cat Lady", which is a reference to Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance's previous comment.

Swift's endorsement was put up on her Instagram account with 284 million followers.

She said she will be casting her vote for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, in the 2024 Presidential Election.

Swift noted:

"Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth."

Trump's previous post

Trump, the 78-year-old Republican nominee, had previously shared a series of images on Truth Social on Aug. 19 showing Taylor Swift fans wearing t-shirts that said "Swifties for Trump".

One appeared to be an AI-generated photo of Taylor Swift in a World War I U.S. Army recruiting poster, while another showed a satirical headline, titled, "Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS foiled Taylor Swift concert".

"I accept!", Trump wrote in response to the images, falsely implying that the pop singer had endorsed him.

Swift wrote on Instagram, "I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make."

The U.S. singer also added a link to her bio regarding where to register and early voting dates.
