A father in Malaysia who was supposed to attend his 10-year-old son's martial arts competition suddenly passed away just days before the event.
The son eventually performed at his father's funeral to bid him a final farewell.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the boy performed earnestly as relatives looked on.
Brain haemorrhage
According to Sin Chew, 45-year-old Chen Junyuan died suddenly from a brain haemorrhage on Aug. 28.
He leaves behind his wife, a son, and two daughters.
His widow, Lin Wenyun, reportedly decided to donate her husband's organs to help patients in need.
The organ donations are expected to benefit 10 patients.
After learning of the family's plight, Malacca City Member of Parliament Khoo Poay Tiong allocated RM10,000 (S$3,147) to the family to help ease their financial burden.
The family is expected to receive RM1,000 (S$314) per month.
The family is also reportedly receiving assistance from social security agencies.
