3 M’sian men, age 28-36, arrested for allegedly urinating along Johor road

Three Malaysian men, aged between 28 and 36, were arrested for allegedly urinating by the roadside in Johor, Malaysia.

The incident reportedly occurred along the Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Highway.

In a video circulating online, the three men were seen standing outside a black Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV).

The video was reportedly uploaded on Sep. 20, at about 2am.

The trio were seen presumably urinating while standing side by side.

Their genitals were not visible.

Someone behind the camera could be heard expressing their disgust at what was happening.

Arrested

In a press release on Sep. 21, local police said they were alerted to the incident on Sep. 20, at about 6:11pm, after being notified of the video.

At about 9:30pm, local police arrested the three men who were allegedly involved in the incident.

Local police also seized an MPV found in front of a restaurant in Johor.

One of the arrested apparently had a prior criminal record.

Urine tests found the trio negative for drugs.

The men are reportedly being investigated for indecency.

In Malaysia, indecency carries a jail term of up to two years.
