Truck carrying sand overturns along TPE, man, 36, sustains minor injuries
The truck was believed to have self-skidded.

A truck carrying sand skidded and overturned along the Tampines Expressway (TPE).
The incident occurred on Jun. 22 at about 2:35pm, towards the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), before Exit 2A to Upper Changi Road East.
In photos circulating online, the truck was seen resting on its side.
The sand it was carrying spilled across the rightmost lane of the road.
The road barrier was also damaged.
Traffic on one lane was cordoned off.
An Expressway Monitoring and Advisory System (EMAS) vehicle was also at the scene, while workers removed fallen trees and debris.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) said the truck was believed to have self-skidded.
A 36-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries but refused to be taken to hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
