After getting into an accident in Johor, the driver of a Singapore-registered car told the other party that he would not run away.

He later stepped on the gas and drove off.

Smiled and posed for camera

A video and photos of the incident were shared on a Johor-Singapore causeway Facebook group on Jun. 11.

The user who posted the footage, Sheena Tow, wrote that it was her sister who took the video.

The driver of the Singapore-registered car apparently reeked of alcohol at the time.

In the video, the woman behind the camera, presumably the other party involved in the accident, could be heard asking the driver of the Singapore car, a man in a blue T-shirt, for his identification card.

In response, the man said filming him was enough.

His speech sounded slurred.

The airbags in the driver and passenger seats of the man's car were deployed.

The male driver repeated several times that he will not "run away."

He later smiled and posed for the camera.

At one point, the man also stuck out his tongue at the camera.

Drives off after saying "bye bye"

About 1 minute and 15 seconds into the video, the man could be heard saying, "Bye bye", before he reached for the car door and drove off.

The woman behind the camera was heard suggesting that he wouldn't get far as he would probably get into another accident soon after.

A photo in the post showed the damage sustained by the other car involved, with dents along the driver-side door and right front fender.

According to Tow, her family has made a police report.

It is not clear from the post when and where the accident took place.

The post has since garnered over 1,300 shares and 1,400 likes.

Many commenters expressed their anger, with a number of them tagging the Facebook pages of Singapore authorities, including the Singapore Police Force.
