Motorcyclist, 72, dies in accident on SLE near Woodlands, truck driver, 71, assisting with investigations
The 71-year-old truck driver is assisting in investigations.
A male motorcyclist, 72, has died after an accident with a tipper truck on the Seletar Expressway (SLE) towards the Central Expressway (CTE), near Woodlands Avenue 12 exit.
In response to Mothership's queries, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) stated that they were notified about accident at around 8:55am on Nov. 22.
An SCDF paramedic pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The male tipper truck driver, 71, is aiding in investigations, said the police.
In footage posted to Facebook pages, SG Road Vigilante (SGRV) and Beh Chia Lor, a blue police tent and a motorcycle can be seen on the expressway's rightmost lane.
A police car and van were seen at the site of the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
