2 men help to extinguish burning car in Choa Chu Kang carpark
The fire was eventually put out by SCDF personnel.
On Jan. 4, two men were seen using extinguishers in an attempt to put out a parked car that caught on fire at a Choa Chu Kang carpark.
The fire was subsequently extinguished by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) team activated to the open carpark of 108 Teck Whye Lane.
SCDF told Mothership that they were alerted to the car fire at about 10:20am on Jan. 4.

Footage of the men's efforts was shared on social media.
One video posted to the Singapore News Telegram group showed a man in a yellow shirt spraying the white car with a fire extinguisher.
Another man in a black shirt brought over a second extinguisher to help him.
SCDF said that SCDF personnel eventually extinguished the fire with a hosereel jet.
There were no reported injuries from the fire.
Mothership understands that the cause of the fire was accidental.
