S'poreans notice Shanghai's new plant dome looks like what we have at Gardens by the Bay

If you guessed the Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, nice try.
It's actually the Shanghai Greenhouse Garden in China.
For comparison, here's the actual Cloud Forest:
Kinda uncanny
TikTok user @noteggtan pointed out the uncanny similarities in a Jan. 8 video.

In the video, he highlighted several familiar features: a central mountain-esque feature surrounded by aerial walkways, an indoor waterfall, and geometric structures that faintly resemble the iconic Supertrees.
One part of it even had a similar name.
Meanwhile, other parts of it appeared to resemble the other main attraction at the Gardens by the Bay — the Flower Dome.

Recently opened
The Shanghai Greenhouse Garden is actually a fairly new addition to the larger landmark, the Shanghai Expo Culture Park in Pudong.
It opened on Sep. 20, 2024.
In the comments section of its WeChat page, users could be seen complaining about the cost of the tickets: between RMB98 (S$18.30) and RMB128 (S$23.90).
"Tickets are too expensive. Not worth it," one person said.
