Do you like pi pa gao?

Well, the stars of the movie "Wicked" swear by Pei Pa Koa, the Chinese herbal syrup, too.

This was revealed in an interview uploaded by Hong Kong-based news outlet Newsdaily Asia on Dec. 4, where, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey and Jeff Goldblum — cast members of the movie "Wicked" — were each presented a box of the popular elixir for the throat.

Super effective

Theatre thespians, Erivo and Bailey, immediately gushed about the concoction's effectiveness.

"I used it. I love it," Erivo said.

Grande, looking stunned, asked: "What is it?"

Erivo replied: "It's like a cough syrup, but it's like the most soothing thing."

Grande, inspecting the box she was given, replied: "I've heard of this. Thank you so much."

Both of them were not the only major endorsers.

"This got me through performing a musical, eight shows a week," Bailey said.

Goldblum, holding the box while looking intrigued, responded: "I need all the help I can get if this really works."

"You'll sound like a flute," Bailey quipped.

What is Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa Cough Syrup?

Retailed under the official name of Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa Cough Syrup, the viscous minty substance that is sweet and highly-palatable is known to provide relief from sore throat and coughs.

Pei Pa Koa reportedly can be traced to the Qing dynasty.

Singers, such as Zayn Malik and Jason Mraz, also swear by it.
