One of my favourite holidays of the year is undoubtedly Christmas.

While I don’t celebrate it from a religious perspective, there’s something about the festive season that fills me with warmth and joy.

It’s the perfect time to indulge in rich, comforting, and, most of all, sinfully delicious treats.

Whether you’re hosting a festive gathering or enjoying a cosy night with loved ones, these five indulgent snacks will elevate your Christmas celebrations.

For drinks

During Christmas, many people enjoy steaming mugs of hot chocolate or creamy cups of eggnog.

But to spice things up and add a touch of indulgence, why not try serving salted caramel coffee?

Salted Caramel Flavoured White Coffee

OldTown’s Salted Caramel Flavoured White Coffee is a fantastic choice for a new holiday drink.

Known and loved by many Singaporeans, OldTown delivers a classic coffee experience with a flair.

This salted caramel flavoured white coffee mix perfectly balances the buttery sweetness of caramel with a hint of savoury saltiness.

Best of all, it’s an instant premix — just adding water will do.

The versatility of this coffee will make it a crowd-pleaser.

Serve it steaming hot or refreshingly iced, depending on you and your guests’ preferences.

For an extra indulgent touch, I like to top mine with whipped cream and a sprinkle of sea salt.

My boyfriend, on the other hand, adds a pump or two of pumpkin spice for a Christmassy vibe.

For sweet treats

Now that drinks are covered, let’s talk about sweet treats to pair with your salted caramel coffee.

Gingerbread Men

Nothing captures the essence of Christmas quite like gingerbread cookies.

Their warm spices and sweet aroma make them a must-have for holiday gatherings.

One of my favourite traditions is decorating gingerbread cookies with friends and family.

You could even take it up a notch by building a gingerbread house.

Sharing laughs over everyone’s silly decorations is a holiday highlight for me.

Pair these cookies with an iced salted caramel coffee for the ultimate festive combination.

Christmas Yule Log Cake

Chocolate is decadent all year round, but a Christmas Yule log cake takes indulgence to another level.

With its rich chocolate sponge and creamy buttercream filling, this traditional dessert is a showstopper.

The charming log design, often dusted with powdered sugar to mimic snow, adds a magical touch to any Christmas table.

Christmas pudding

On a recent visit to London, I discovered sticky toffee pudding, and it was love at first bite.

Different from the jelly-like pudding we’re familiar with, this dessert features moist sponge cake drenched in luscious toffee sauce.

A festive variation, made with mixed dried and candied fruits, is a classic Christmas treat.

You can find Christmas puddings in gourmet grocery stores in Singapore.

If my love for sticky toffee pudding is any indication, this will be a delightful surprise for your guests.

Santa’s cookies

There’s a charming tradition of leaving cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve.

Why not have some fun and bake “Santa’s cookies” with your kids — or even the young-at-heart adults?

Santa’s cookies, often called monster cookies, are extra indulgent with chocolate chips and festive Christmas M&Ms.

Don’t forget to leave a cup of salted caramel coffee for the jolly old man!

Honestly, I’ll probably indulge in this pairing more times than I care to admit over the holiday season.

With these five delicious and indulgent treats, hopefully, your Christmas celebration will be full of warmth, joy, and laughter.

Whether you’re hosting guests or just having a quiet dinner with your family, it’s never the wrong occasion to get into a festive mood.

Here’s to a merry, jolly Christmas!
