Japanese cheese tart brand Bake Cheese Tart is returning to Singapore.
Hailing from Hokkaido, Bake Cheese Tart has reopened in Singapore at basement two of Takashimaya in Ngee Ann City.
The brand is known for its tarts with double-baked crust and smooth cream cheese filling.
Overwhelming demand
According to a press release, Bake Cheese Tart made its return due to "overwhelming demand" from fans.
From now till Jan. 27, 2025, customers who purchase six tarts will receive one complimentary earl grey cheese tart.
Available in Singapore for the first time, the earl grey cheese tart consists of cheese filling infused with earl grey tea.
Last in Singapore in 2019
Bake Cheese Tart first came to Singapore in April 2016 at Ion Orchard and subsequently opened a second outlet at Westgate in October the same year.
The brand left the Singapore market after three years, in 2019.
