Prices from S$24: Tickets to Asean Football Championship semi-final in S'pore on sale from Dec. 22
Let's roar for Singapore.
The Singapore national football team advanced to the semi-finals of the Asean Football Championship after securing a 0-0 draw with Malaysia on Dec. 20.
Tickets to the first leg of the semi-finals, which will be held at Jalan Besar Stadium at 9pm on Dec. 26, will go on sale from 12pm on Dec. 22.
They are priced between S$24 to S$49, excluding ticketing fees, said the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) in a Dec. 21 media release.
According to FAS, fans can only purchase tickets onsite at the stadium so that "only Singapore fans secure tickets to the home fan section" and lend their support for the Lions.
During the purchasing process, fans will be required to show their proof of identity, but "no personal data will be collected", added FAS.
Sales for away tickets
According to FAS, there will be some 300 seats in the away section, which are reserved for away fans.
However, tickets for away fans, which are priced at S$38, can only be bought on the matchday at the stadium from 3pm to 30 minutes prior to the conclusion of the game.
Lions' journey to semi-finals
The Lions embarked on their campaign at the National Stadium by notching a 2-1 win against Cambodia on Dec. 11.
The team then defeated Timor-Leste 3-0 before losing 2-4 to Thailand on Dec. 17.
During the semi-finals, the Lions will face the winners of Group B, which are still not finalised as the group matches are still ongoing.
