First look: 'The World of Studio Ghibli' exhibition at ArtScience Museum from Oct. 4, 2024
A magical experience.
ArtScience Museum will be holding the "The World of Studio Ghibli" exhibition from Oct. 4, 2024, to Feb. 2, 2025.
This exhibition marks Studio Ghibli’s first showcase in Singapore and is one of its largest to date, covering 2,400 sqm across 11 galleries.

Visitors will explore the worlds of 11 iconic Ghibli films, including "My Neighbour Totoro", "Kiki’s Delivery Service", "Princess Mononoke", "Spirited Away", and "Howl’s Moving Castle".

The exhibition features 16 large-scale interactive theatrical sets, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in key moments from these films, such as waiting in the rain with Totoro and stepping inside Howl’s Moving Castle.
Highlights from the exhibition
Highlights include a giant sculpture from "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" displayed in the museum's lily pond, along with immersive installations in the basement galleries and original sculptures in the level three galleries.

Activities
Visitors can also participate in three interactive activity spaces:
- Drawing soot sprites from "Spirited Away"
- Writing gratitude notes inspired by Totoro
- Making a thaumatrope featuring characters from "My Neighbour Totoro"

A retail store on level three will offer a range of official merchandise, including a Singapore-exclusive Peranakan-inspired skirt.

Ticketing information
Ticket prices start at S$23.80 for Sands Lifestyle members with concessions on non-peak days (Mondays to Thursdays) and go up to S$49 for non-local standard adult tickets on peak days (Fridays to Sundays).
Sands Lifestyle members can purchase their tickets at Marina Bay Sands box offices and on their webpage here.
Non-Sands lifestyle members can purchase their tickets via Klook and Marina Bay Sands box offices.
