WHAT is this role about?

As a Video Content Producer (News & Current Affairs), you will work with fellow content creators, using the video medium to help entertain, engage and inform our audiences.

A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:

  • Pitching, planning, and producing insightful and creative news videos
  • Exploring ways to identify, highlight, and add value to conversations of the day with the team, through the creation and development of episodes in an original video series such as Mothership Hits the Street and Mothership Kaypoh
  • Managing video projects independently
  • Taking part in shoots as a production support crew member

WHO should consider?

We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in news and current affairs and able to present them in a creative video format.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Able to operate video cameras and DSLRs
  • Strong command of English and storytelling skills
  • Keeps current with digital and social media trends, and has a pulse on trending conversations among young Singaporeans
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Production experience is a bonus
