1. Video Intern (Worldview)
Are you an aspiring video creator interested in global trends, developments and hot button events taking place overseas?
As a Video Intern with the Worldview team, you will work with our team of geopolitical enthusiasts to educate and entertain our fellow Singaporeans about moments in history that affect us and generations to come.
The world changes every day, and you could be the one to document it.
Here’s what you can expect to do on a day-to-day basis:
- Sourcing and pitching stories based on current events taking place overseas.
- Creating videos for our social media platforms Instagram, TikTok and others.
- Crafting narratives about global events that matter to Singaporeans.
- Working with the Worldview team to develop story concepts and ideas, both short and long-term.
2. Video Intern (Current Affairs / Series)
Do you have a passion for expressing your creativity through videos?
As our Video Intern, you will work with our video producers to research, script, film, and edit videos about trending topics across a variety of social media platforms.
Here’s a snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:
- Staying up-to-date on current issues and trends
- Pitching interesting, relevant, and creative video ideas that are of interest to our audiences
- Producing and executing high-impact video ideas
- Assisting with pre-production, production, and post-production
3. Editorial / Video Intern (Nova)
Are you an aspiring writer or video producer with an interest in local lifestyle and entertainment news and trends?
As an Editorial / Video Intern with our Nova team, you will work with our team of like-minded connoisseurs to sieve out and write about lifestyle trends (food, celebrities, events, etc.) that Singaporeans are interested in.
A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-today basis:
- Sourcing and pitching lifestyle and entertainment stories
- Creating stories in text and/or multimedia formats, such as images and videos
- Participating in daily news gathering and reporting
- Working with the editorial team to develop and hone story concepts, ideas and approaches
4. Business Development Intern (Commercial)
Do you have a passion for developing creative marketing campaigns that reach and captivate the hearts of audiences from all walks of life?
As a Business Development Intern, you will work alongside our Commercial team to execute effective marketing campaigns and develop long-term working relationships with our brand partners and sponsors.
Here’s a snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:
- Managing various aspects of commercial projects tending to the needs of our stakeholders
- Identifying new business opportunities and putting together great pitch materials, presentations, and media kits
- Participating in brainstorm sessions with Mothership’s creatives to develop impactful marketing campaigns
- Analysing data to evaluate the effectiveness of our campaigns
5. Graphic / Visual Design Intern
Are you a visual thinker who is creative, curious, and passionate about communicating through design?
As our graphic / visual design intern, you will work cross-departmentally to improve the creative and visual quality of our work. You will also play a role in shaping how our audiences view and connect with our content and products.
Here’s a snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:
- Working with our editorial team to translate complex information into high quality, visually aesthetic infographics that are easy to understand
- Conceptualising and creating visual assets that speak to our audiences, engage their interest, and contribute positively to Mothership’s brand identity
- Bringing design briefs and concepts to life across content formats and platforms
- Creating high-impact marketing collaterals and pitch materials for our commercial partners
- Providing creative support for our internal initiatives
6. Events Intern (Matchbox)
Are you someone with an interest in events planning? Possess an eye for detail and able to think on your feet? Interested in managing live productions, including handling tech and audiovisual systems and equipment?
Matchbox is Mothership’s multifunctional creative and events space. If you love planning and executing new programmes and events, meeting and interacting with people, and ensuring things function smoothly behind the scenes, this role may just be for you!
A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:
- Assisting with Matchbox programmes and events
- Planning and coordinating with key stakeholders (landlords, vendors, etc.)
- Overseeing venue and equipment operations, upkeep, and maintenance
- Helping to grow Matchbox’s value proposition as the creative venue of choice for audiences, partners, and stakeholders
7. Social Media Intern (Instagram)
Have an interest in social media content and trends? Love communicating stories and ideas through bite-sized, multimedia formats?
As our Social Media Intern, you will be at the forefront of engaging with Mothership’s audiences on Instagram.
A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:
- Creating multimedia content (such as Reels and images) for Mothership’s Instagram account
- Brainstorming and pitching content ideas for the platform
- Designing assets and materials for social media
