WHAT is this role about?

As a Creative Executive, you will work as part of Mothership’s sponsored content team to pitch interesting sponsored content angles and craft compelling sponsored articles. You will work with our editorial and business teams to produce content that achieves a client’s objectives and speaks to the Mothership audience.

A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:

  • Conceptualise original, creative sponsored content that translate our clients' objectives into great content 
  • Execute sponsored content, especially in the form of written word and Instagram stories
  • Work closely with both the business and editorial teams on content development
  • Assign writers, producers and any other necessary talents
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions 
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently and pitch new, exciting ideas on a consistent basis
  • Immerse yourself in each Mothership vertical to understand its voice, audience and the content that works best in that environment

WHO should consider?

If you are someone who:

  • Have a deep understanding of the editorial side of publishing and the ability to apply that knowledge to achieve a client's goals
  • Is familiar with the Mothership brand and audience
  • Have a history of executing sponsored content campaigns at an agency, publisher or brand
  • Have excellent problem solving, time management and project management skills
  • Is meticulous and have an eye for detail
  • Have a love for grammar and a passion for copyediting
  • Likes having a point of view and is willing to exchange ideas but also receptive to feedback.
