Man, 71, found dead at foot of Punggol block

A man, 71, was found dead at the foot of Block 126B Edgedale Plains on Monday afternoon, Sep. 7.

The incident occurred at around 4:05pm.

The police said the man was found lying motionless at the foot of the block and confirmed that he had fallen from height.

Based on preliminary investigations, no foul play is suspected.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedic.

Police investigations are ongoing.

A video submitted by a Mothership reader showed a blue tent at the foot of the block partially on the road.

Police officers were at the scene.

Blood stains were seen on the pavement after midnight.
