She was brought to safety by SCDF personnel.
A woman was seen standing on the ledge outside a 10th floor flat’s kitchen window on Jan. 13.
The incident occurred at a public housing block along Tampines Street 82.
A video of the incident was posted online and subsequently removed.
Mothership understands that the woman got stuck on the ledge while cleaning windows.
In the video, a person appeared to hold on to the stranded woman's hand through the window from inside the unit.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the incident at about 10:35am.
SCDF deployed a Combined Platform Ladder (CPL) to reach the person.
Firefighters secured the person with a safety harness.
The person was then brought down to the ground floor using the CPL.
SCDF also deployed a safety life air pack and rescuers from the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) were on standby as a precautionary measure.
The woman was assessed by an SCDF paramedic and declined to be sent to the hospital.
