Two SCDF search dogs were also deployed.
Four people were conveyed to the hospital after a floor and storage racks collapsed inside a warehouse unit in Toa Payoh and trapped them.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) posted on Facebook on Jan. 28 that they were alerted to an incident at 11 Toa Payoh Industrial Park at 5:50pm.
A few people were reportedly trapped under piles of rugs after a mezzanine floor and storage racks collapsed inside the first floor of a warehouse unit.
Trapped
One person was able to free himself from the rubble before SCDF arrived, but three others were still trapped.
Firefighters from Bishan Fire Station, rescuers from the Special Response Unit and the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team searched the area.
Two SCDF search dogs were also deployed.
The firefighters and rescuers removed piles of rugs and cut through storage racks to reach the trapped people.
After about 90 minutes, SCDF rescued all three persons, including two children.
The two adults were conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, while the children were taken to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
All four were conscious when conveyed to the hospital.
