New 10,000-seater stadium, swimming pools, sports halls & more planned for Toa Payoh Integrated Development in 2030
Construction started in January 2025.
Construction for the Toa Payoh Integrated Development began on Jan. 5, 2025 and is expected to be completed by 2030.
The integrated development will include new sporting facilities, such as a 10,000-seated stadium, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an Indoor Sports Hall with 22 badminton courts, and multiple sheltered futsal and tennis courts.
In addition, the Toa Payoh Town Park will be rejuvenated, while a new library and a redeveloped polyclinic will replace the current ones.
Alan Goh, SportSG's Chief Executive Officer, shared that the Toa Payoh Integrated Development will bring top-class sporting infrastructure and events closer to the community, benefiting both residents and Singapore national athletes.
"This rejuvenated development will cater to the evolving sporting needs, interests, and aspirations of our people, and we envision it to become an exciting sporting and lifestyle destination at the heart of Toa Payoh," he added.

Sports
The 12-hectare integrated development located between Lorong 6 Toa Payoh and the Pan Island Expressway will feature:
- A 10,000-seater stadium
- Two sheltered futsal courts
- A 5,000-seater indoor sports hall with 22 badminton courts
- A 500-seater team sports hall with three indoor netball courts
- Six sheltered tennis courts
- A 1,500 square metre ActiveSG gym
- A 2,000-seater aquatic centre with four indoor pools and three outdoor leisure pools
These will serve the community's needs and provide state-of-the-art training facilities for Singapore's national athletes.
Polyclinic, library and park
The Toa Payoh Polyclinic will be redeveloped to replace the existing one.
It is part of the Ministry of Health's plan to continue investing in primary care and allow Singaporeans to receive care closer to home.
The new library will replace the current one. It will feature larger spaces and new services to meet the evolving needs of its patrons and enhance the visitor experience.
Toa Payoh Town Park will be rejuvenated and designed around the existing terrain, and heritage features like the Lookout Tower will be retained.
The National Parks Board plans to provide new features, such as an allotment garden, a therapeutic garden, a multi-purpose event lawn and spaces, a dog run, and a nature playground for children.
