Monster Curry & Aburi-EN has 'Attack on Titan'-themed menu & merch till Feb. 28, 2025
No Titans, just me.
Japanese restaurants Monster Curry and Aburi-EN have partnered with the Japanese anime series "Attack on Titan" to launch a limited-time themed menu.
Here's a look at the menus:
The limited-time collaboration menu will be available at all existing outlets for both restaurants, including Monster Planet at Jem and The Centrepoint.
This collaboration will run until Feb. 28, 2025.
The "Attack on Titan" anime, based on a manga series, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is protected behind giant walls from monstrous humanoid creatures called Titans.
Both restaurants feature standees of iconic characters from the series, including Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert and Levi Ackerman.
With each purchase from the limited-time menu, customers will also receive an "Attack on Titan" table paper mat.
Monster Curry
Here's what we tried from Monster Curry:
Jinarashi (S$19.50++)
Inspired by the "Rumbling" event in the anime's final season, this dish features hamburger steaks and fried chicken, representing the Titans' footprints.
It is also served alongside a silky omelette.
Wall Maria (S$16.50++)
A nod to the massive wall from "Attack on Titan", this dish features curry sauce over rice, accompanied by fried shrimp, takoyaki and fresh broccoli.
Marley Red Muscat Soda (S$6.50++)
It is a refreshing drink with muscat puree, red grenadine and soda water.
Armin Arlert's Blue Ocean Soda (S$6.50++)
The drink has blue grenadine, blueberry syrup and soda water.
Aburi-EN
Here's what we tried from Aburi-EN:
Survey Crops Don (S$14++)
A combination of fried chicken and grilled chicken, topped with yuzu kosho and seaweed.
Wall Maria Don (S$19++)
Grilled Iberico pork with shimeji mushrooms, kinshi tamago and diced Japanese cucumbers.
The rice bowl is inspired by the towering walls and the shattered cityscape after Zeke's attack.
Mikasa Special (S$7++)
A dessert featuring ice cream with strawberry syrup, ladyfinger, warabimochi, red bean sauce, whipped cream and a cereal base.
It is inspired by Mikasa's iconic scarf.
Marley Red Virgin Sangria (S$7.50++)
The drink is made with mixed berries juice, fruit bits and Sprite, inspired by Marley's wine.
Armin Arlert's Blue Ocean Soda (S$7++)
The drink is made with blue curacao, pineapple juice and Sprite.
