Maserati doesn't stop while turning onto Upper Pickering St, hits Toyota which ends up on sidewalk
The Maserati driver was criticised for not stopping when it did not have the right of way.
A car that failed to stop while it was turning out onto Upper Pickering Street collided with another car, which then ended up driving onto the sidewalk.
Footage of the incident was uploaded to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook group on Jan. 8.
According to the video's caption, it had occurred earlier on the same day.
How did the incident unfold?
The video, which appeared to have been filmed from another car, showed a black Toyota Raize driving down Upper Pickering Street.
A black Maserati Levante can then be seen coming out from a street on the right.
It did not stop and ended up colliding with the Toyota Raize, which ended up driving onto the sidewalk on its right.
The screeching of tyres and the sound of a car's horn could also be heard.
Meanwhile, a man, presumably the driver of the car filming the incident, can be heard saying, "Oh my god."
Many commenters reacted to the video by criticising the Maserati driver for not stopping before the stop line and letting traffic on the main road have the right of way.
At least one commenter also pointed out how the accident could have been much worse if it had happened during "peak hours" with more pedestrians on the sidewalk.
