Man, 55, allegedly touched woman over her groin area near Our Tampines Hub, charged in court
He was apparently caught by members of the public.

A 55-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly molested a woman along the walkway near Our Tampines Hub on Dec. 31.
The incident happened at around 8:30am that day.
According to charge sheets seen by Mothership, Amal Fazal bin Madarsanoo allegedly touched the woman on her groin area over her jeans once.
The identity of the victim cannot be disclosed due to a gag order.
Apprehended by members of public
A video of a man apprehended by members of the public was subsequently posted on TikTok.
In the video, the man was seen being held by a member of the public before the police arrived.

Those who assault or use criminal force to a person with intent to outrage the modesty of that person can be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or fined, or caned, or any combination of the three.
