He was charged with committing a public nuisance that caused annoyance
On Jan. 13, video footage of another man peeing on a wall, this time at Tanah Merah MRT station, was uploaded on social media.
It is unclear when this incident occurred.
Lam Sheau Kai, president of SMRT trains, confirmed that a police report had been filed.
He added: "Such behaviour is unacceptable, as it defaces public spaces and poses health and sanitation risks to commuters."
The Outram Park incident earned a strongly-worded condemnation from the Land Transport Authority (LTA), which said it would push for the maximum penalty possible.
