SBS Transit bus mounts pavement, narrowly misses lamppost along Bedok Reservoir road
SBS Transit has apologised for the distress and inconvenience caused to affected passengers and is currently assisting the police with their investigation.
An SBS Transit bus mounted the pavement along Bedok Reservoir Road near Kaki Bukit on Jan. 9 at around 12.15pm.
Photos and a video of the incident were shared on Facebook.
The bus appears to have driven through a grass verge, narrowly missing a lamppost and a tree.
It veered towards the HDB block.
The 74-year-old bus captain is assisting the police with their investigation.
Statement from SBS Transit
In response to Mothership's queries, SBS Transit spokesperson Grace Wu said,
