Woman found dead in Dover: Police investigating murder, seeking foreign authorities' help to find man, 34
Police investigations are ongoing.
The body of a 30-year-old woman was found inside a residential unit at Block 1 Dover Road at around 5:10pm on Dec. 2.
In an update on Dec. 3, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) told Mothership that they are investigating a 34-year-old man for his alleged involvement in her murder.
As the man had left Singapore before the police were alerted to the incident, the police are engaging foreign authorities' assistance to obtain more information and locate him.
Previously, the police stated that preliminary investigations indicated that the man and the woman are known to each other.
Lianhe Zaobao reported that it understands that the pair were a couple, and that the man was believed to have left for India.

Police investigated at scene for 8 hours
According to Shin Min Daily News, police investigations at the residential unit where the woman's body was found lasted around eight hours.
During this time, police officers retrieved nine bags of evidence.
At around 12:30am on Dec. 3, a black police vehicle arrived at the Housing and Development Board (HDB) block.
Coroners subsequently brought the woman's body to the vehicle.
At around 1am, police officers lifted the cordon along the common corridor outside the unit.
