Pair likely sexually violated over 1,000 victims: Thai authorities

Tee, whose full name was withheld by the authorities, was a teacher at a school in Phitsanulok, north Thailand, The Nation Thailand reported.

Tee was also found by Thailand's Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to have conspired with the owner of Nene Modeling agency, Danudet Saengkaew, to groom children.

Evidence suggested that the two could have sexually violated over 1,000 victims, the DSI said.

Tee was arrested in June as part of DSI investigations.

He confessed to sexually assaulting children at places including his car, restrooms, and the school's audio-visual room.

Most of these offences took place within the school.

Thairath reported that Tee preferred to target male students. The boy he was found guilty of sexually assaulting was under 15 at the time.

Tee was also found to be in possession of child pornography.

Co-conspirator kept over 500,000 images of child sexual abuse

Tee's co-conspirator, Saengkaew, 28, was arrested in 2021, with over 500,000 images of children being sexually abused found in his possession, according to The Nation Thailand.

He was sentenced to 121 years and 223 months in jail on Feb. 11 and ordered to pay 2.1 million baht in damages (S$83,497).

DSI is working on identifying other child victims to bring the perpetrators to justice, Thairath reported.
