Taufik Batisah buys 3-storey 'dream home' with wife

"Singapore Idol" winner Taufik Batisah has just purchased his "dream home" with his wife, Sheena Akbal.

In an Instagram post on Dec. 20, the 43-year-old thanked his supporters and also shared videos of his new three-storey home.

Hope to inspire others

"Alhamdulilah with Allah's grace and blessings we bought our dream home," Taufik wrote in his post.

He thanked the public for their support, adding that the couple is sharing the news publicly as the purchase "would not have been possible" without the public's support all these years since his entertainment career kicked off.

Taufik added that he had come from "humble beginnings" and set his goals high.

"I hope this inspires all of you to do the same no matter what background you come from," he said.

Taufik is also a property agent and owns fried chicken restaurant Chix Hot Chicken.

Gives virtual house tour

Taufik also shared videos of his home, taking followers through the couple's shared space.

He briefly showed the perimeter which surrounded the house in one video and also took viewers on a short virtual tour on the first floor.

He also showed the view outside the house from inside the bedroom.
