Fire put out, 50 evacuated
SCDF firefighters subsequently put out the fire, which involved contents of a bedroom, using a water jet.
About 50 people from neighbouring units were evacuated as a precautionary measure, SCDF said.
Two occupants from the affected unit evacuated before SCDF's arrival.
They were assessed by a paramedic for smoke inhalation, but both declined to be sent to the hospital, SCDF said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
